Get More Trusted Reviews On Google

Google has managed to touch most facets of internet life and reviews to your business are no exception. Since most searches are done on Google, it stands to reason that the better your Google reviews are, the more business you’ll have coming in.

If you’re just starting out or beginning to build your online presence these are few things you can do to garner a few reviews on Google:

Ask for a review

If you don’t ask, you won’t receive! Sometimes the best way to get something is to just ask for it. Often customers forget to review businesses when they have a good experience, so asking at the end of their customer service experience is a great way to remind them to leave a good review.

Send a follow-up email with a link to leave the review

Sending an email can often be one of the lowest maintenance ways to get reviews. Most people are pretty lazy at leaving reviews and aren’t going to go out of their way to leave a review unless they’ve had the most amazing experience or the worst one. Ensure favor for your business by making sure that everyone has the opportunity to leave a review. That way, if any bad reviews surface, it’ll be an anomaly in a sea of good standing reviews.

Don’t be afraid to send more than one email. Just because one email doesn’t get an answer doesn’t mean they will all go ignored. Everyone needs a little reminder here and there and it’s okay to send your clients one to get that good review.

Add a review link to your website

Chances are, your clients are going to head to your website more than once. If they see the review box on your page, the odds that they will leave a review become increasingly high.

Through Google, you are able to create a custom review link without having to jump through all the hoops of creating your own form.

Interact with your reviews

No matter the size of your business, clients and customers want to feel like their voice are being heard. A simple way to do this is by replying to the reviews that you are getting. Thank the reviewer regardless of the type of review they leave for taking the time and then address any concerns they might have had.

Not only does interacting with your client show that you care, but it demonstrates another level of customer service to new and old clients.

Verify your business on Google

Nothing says that you are a legit business more than having a Google verifying that claim. Once your business is verified, your business will start to come up on searches from places such as Search and Maps.

You know when you’re in a new city and want to find the closest gas station so you search “gas”? It’ll be like that but for the niche of your business.

Not to mention, only verified businesses on Google are able to respond to reviews from customers.

Provide exemplary customer service

This one seems to be a given, but the better service you provide on a consistent basis, the more likely your business has of getting a better Google review.

Customers tend to remember either bad service or exemplary service. If you want your Google reviews to reflect the high-quality service you provide, then ensure that they will only have good experiences by always providing a good experience for the customer.

While getting reviews might not seem high on your business to-do list, they are still an important factor for growing your business into a trustable reliable one. Implementing these tips are just another way to show your customer and client base your professionalism and gives them a way to reciprocate.
